I purchased a Class A Monaco Diesel, the salesman and staff did a great job. I was a very easy transaction and I feel I got a good price price on the motor home. The unit was prepared and ready to go when I picked it up. There were several item I did not expect to be repaired that were, that was an unexpected surprise. Great job.

Buying an older coach can be risky. Chad acquires card for units and his prices reflect this standard. Don't bother haggling. You will not regret buying from this company. Mutual respect is two way and like us, the benefits make it worthwhile. I feel confident and grateful to Chad and his team of good people.

My wife and I had planned to take a "bucket list" vacation with a rented RV. We wanted a large class C or a gas A. the period we were planning would have cost us in excess of $10,000. We decided to risk it and buy an older motorhome and hope for the best. We checked out every site possible and found what looked like a really low mileage 1991 Fleetwood on Motorhomes of California. It looked great from the photos but rather than make the trek from Palm Springs, I arranged for a professional RV inspection. (recommended for older vehicles).
The inspection came back with a generally favorable outcome. There were some general maintenance / service issues which we would have taken care of anyway so we decided to make the trek and see it for ourselves. Big Ed showed us all the functions and we felt confident.
We quickly learned that Chad does not negotiate and although the price was higher than NADA, we felt it was worth the investment. Logistically, I could not drive it home and have my wife follow so the arrangements were made for a separate future date. I returned with a mechanically savvy friend to make the journey back. Unfortunately, When we arrived, Chad was very welcoming and we also met Tommy and Bill with big Ed. It was discovered that the master cylinder needed to be changed and Chad had already taken care of that as well as all new tires Etc. Unfortunately the new Brake Cylinder failed so this is where customer care kicks in.
We had completed the paperwork and felt very alone when this happened. Tommy contacted Chad and he immediately authorized us to take a loaner vehicle and arrange for the coach to be delivered to our home. I thought that was very decent of him moreover, it was also determined that the power steering needed attention so Chad agreed to cover this cost also and as a bonus for our peace of mind and his respect for our trouble, Chad gave a complete service of the coach without any extra expense from us. This is the customer care that I never expected from a small company. It speaks volumes about the integrity that Chad and his team have for their "customers". The attitude of non negotiation on price can seem daunting but once you're in the loop, the sense of genuine regard shines through. (mutual respect goes a long way).
It now made sense to me now that Chad seems to select potentially good condition vehicles and this is reflected in his price. I don't think we would have gotten far if we had used an adversarial approach. Instead we remained calm and and were rewarded with genuine regard.
I cannot thank Chad and is team enough for making our experience a positive one. We knew the risks of buying a classic (OLD!) coach but now we feel we can take to the road with more confidence.David Clinton-Reid, Palm Springs, CAStore Location: Costa Mesa -
Every annual plan has a story and here is one where the truth about caring service has to be share. My wife and I have rented and share RV experiences and rather than do a big rental, we decided to buy from Motorhomes of California thinking that we could get a quality used coach for a similar price to long term rental. We found a low mileage vehicle which seemed in great condition so we went to see it.
We were treated with respect and shown the coach and how everything operated. As with any vehicle purchase, we assumed there was negotiating room but this was not available so we decided to walk away. We subsequently checked many other coaches and found ourselves drawn to return to Chad and this "OLD LADY" coach because unlike many on the market, this was in really good condition.
We decided to go ahead and buy the coach.
This is when the customer care kicked in. Chad and his team could not do enough to ensure we were completely satisfied with our purchase taking care of every safety and mechanical issue that arose.
We feel that our purchase was one of the most positive experiences we have had in many years when customer service is involved.
Thank you Chad, Jason, Big Ed, Tommy and Bill. You are the best blessed RV dealership. EVER!!David Clinton-Reid, Palm Springs, CAStore Location: Costa Mesa -
Chad helped us when we had gotten Scammed by another dealer on a motorhome we purchased online. I flew in from Wisconsin with my family with intentions on starting our vacation, But left the Other place empty handed the motorhome was not what was suppose to be. We found Motorhomes of California online. Chad had A coach he just put on the lot. When we had told him we needed it within one day he went above and beyond and made sure it was ready to go! . Excellent service, No pressure on buying, We drove 2000 Miles home with no problems. I will definitely Deal with him again when we upgrade. He Saved our vacation and many more to come thanks to these guys.

Ive been looking for an inexpensive motorhome for quite some time. I ran across this company and was a little leery because the price was almost too good to be true. I went and inspected the RV and met with Chad and found the coach to be considerably better than I had expected and I was under NO pressure to buy. I went home and thought about it and called Chad later that evening and told him that I wanted it, and he agreed to hold it for me for five days without any deposit. I purchased the coach and never would have expected that a RV at the price he sold it to me would have made it across the country and back. I strongly suggest this dealership to any of my friends.Thank you Chad, Mr. Friedman

I found them on a random search on the internet in September, and thought the same as others this price is to good to be true. They fast in getting back to me and getting photos and videos that I asked for. We decided to buy after they said they would keep it on their lot until I could get there in Oct. and that if I was not happy with it I could walkaway with all my money back. When I arrived to inspect it I found a few issues that they repaired. My family and I then drove it across country back to Indiana with no issues at all. I would definitely buy from them again and send someone to them. Great people to work with. Only thing I would say is they need to update their site my RV is still listed with them (Dec).
